Detail of Qualification: Jennifer Goetsch Jengoetsch11@gmail.com 206.375.0420 7447 Manual Road Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 I am interested in a horseback riding guide position. I am extremely experienced with both horses and tourism. I have taken riding lesson since I was four years old and bought my own horse (Tiger) when I was ten. I kept him at a self-care barn, which meant I got plenty of experience with the labor involved in keeping a horse. Recreationally, I ride mainly English so that I can jump but all my past jobs that involve teaching horseback riding has been Western. I am familiar with Parelli and Brannaman natural horsemanship techniques and always eager to learn more. Summer of 2012 and 2013, I guided horseback riding tours in Glacier National Park, Montana for Swan Mountain Outfitters. This gave me eight combined months of experiences of daily bear (grizzly and black) encounters, dealing with sudden storms when stuck miles away from home with guests, daily narration of the wilderness, and management skills. Those employers would love to give me a recommendation as a hard-working, independent, and adaptable worker. I would also love to elaborate on any of my previous horse experience or remote living experience over the phone or skype. I studied philosophy and science at Beloit College and focused primarily on animal behavior, ecosystems, and preservation. Please let me know if you would like to set up an interview time with me. I understand safety of both the guests and horses is paramount in an operation of this sort. I would love to face the challenge of becoming a part of your staff.
